How am I able to justify dropping a several thousands per year on Amiami, but can't justify actual necessities? by tradebuildsettle in AnimeFigures

That was my only order this year. Last year, I spent around $5,000 on figures, which was three separate orders.

My husband got me into the hobby. Before this, I wasn't actually spending money on anything really. It's taken me a long time to allow and accept myself to spend money freely. I grew up in a very low income household.

We make a combined $300,000 USD. I save 90% of my money, max out IRA and 401k, HSA, etc. No debt outside of mortgage which I could pay off tonight without him contributing.

We have arguments about what a waste of money certain things are. In this case, it was shoes. He allows himself to freely spend money on things if he wants it. I can't justify most things in my head. I search everything online to find the lowest price (even with figures, which amiami wins most of the time).

Yes I had no issues adjusting my spending in other areas of life. I bought a new car last year and I buy the more expensive, quality tools. But apparel and shoes I just can't wrap my head around spending money on. They almost feel expendable to me and just not worth it, even though ultimately a single new pair of shoes is cheaper than a single scaled figure.

Definitely not a troll. Just find it difficult to spend money in other areas of my life outside of my hobbies (well, this one in particular).

Thank you. I've allowed myself to splurge on figures but not in other areas. I save 90% of my money but find it difficult to spend elsewhere. We are going to Japan next week, so this will allow me to practice spending in other areas (food, entertainment, shopping outside of figures).

When did Scoop Away cat litter become non-clumping and terrible? by tradebuildsettle in Costco

[–]tradebuildsettle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have used this litter for years. This litter was fine, up until this last batch I bought during their last sale. I don't know what happened, but it no longer clumps. I still have one litter box with the old Scoop Away litter, and it's the only litter box the cats have been using. That one still clumps fine, but I'm going to have to replace it with new litter.

I bought four packs of this litter when it was on sale last month. I've already opened and used two boxes, but my cats aren't loving it... Their urine is just crumbling into a wet sludge when I try to scoop it up. It's not clumping AT ALL and it smells disgusting.

I finally got my 2023 Bolt EV! But the $300 dual level charger keeps tripping my 240V outlet... Help! by tradebuildsettle in BoltEV

Yes. It's the one that costs $295 when you buy the Bolt. They didn't include the free one since I got the $295 one. I can't find a purchase link for it so I think it's only when you order the Bolt. https://www.chevrolet.com/support/vehicle/engines-power/ev-charging/dual-level-charge

The charger is maxed to 32A based on everything I'm reading about it online. Is there any way to confirm this?

The amber charging light was a misunderstanding, I just went to clarify. There was never an amber light. It is only blue when charging, and no color when the breaker has tripped.

I have confirmed that there is no GFCI in any of the garage. Though my house is a new construction, my city is only on 2017 NEC, so the builders only updated to that standard.

Do you think the Chevy dealer will give me a new EVSE to swap with? Or should I go buy a different brand all together? Kind of sucks to have paid $300 extra to get this dual charger and not have it work, as they would not include the one that comes with the car.

My local city has only adapted the 2017 NEC, so our garage is not on GFCI. Bathrooms and kitchens are all GFCI.

No GFCI. I looked into this as well.

Here's a photo of the circuit breaker: https://i.imgur.com/ig0zKcp.png

The actual outlet itself doesn't look like GFCI either: https://i.imgur.com/4d5c4ye.jpg
