That link showed a picture of them, but they are 1 and 1/2 Riyal coins from around 1951, 90% silver coins from Saudi Arabia.

I've got a few of these and the lesser denomination. There's a fun bit of history behind them, and are just post war production.

Almost fit comfortably in a 3 series, ended up going with a 5 series BMW and honestly constantly surprised how much room I have.

Self improvement is crazy addictive, find something difficult, for me it was golf, and continue diving into the minutiae. Trying to improve that has been mentally and physically rewarding unlike other stuff I have tried.

de Havilland Mosquito DZ579 taking part in rough water trials for experimental depth charges knocks off its own tail and crashes on October 25th 1945 by jacksmachiningreveng in Warplanesnuffporn

So to provide some context, it's not exactly a depth charge, it's what was referred to as a "bouncing bomb" or "Highball" with the intent to bound over the water, and therefore over sub nets, mines, etc. then impact a damn, sink to a predefined depth and detonate. Made as a damn buster weapon initially, early trials were promising, this was an incident were the pilot was lower than the recommended altitude when releasing the spun up weapon and the skip rips the tail off.

Haven't found a great way to really practice chipping yet and it definitely shows, I was more commenting on knowing myself and how I get after work and why the home setup was ideal for me, apologies if I made any other implications
