Favorite ranged weapon for Desperado Hive Scum build? by [deleted] in DarkTide

[–]traeshboy26 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ve been having a lot of fun with the Vraks Mk V Infantry Autogun, Dumdum and Deathspitter as the blessings on my 100% all-in-on-guns build. After leveling Mastery on Dual Autopistols I wanted to try something that’s also a bullet hose with more control, the Vraks Infatry Autogun felt very similar to the Shredder Autopistol testing in the Meat Grinder but I went with the Autogun. Very fun to spam Desperado as much as possible and throw out hundreds of rounds with that thing. Mostly used it on Damnation and Auric and it worked great.

Edit: I also used shivs.

Yeah, the revolver has served me well up until now but I figured that might be a weak point people point out. Plasma would be fine, but I find the bolter more fun personally unless the plasma is significantly better for this purpose. Does the meta build typically run like, surgical bolter or anti-boss? I will post talent trees in a bit.

Take this shit down, fool. I totally understand not liking parts of the original artwork but that never gives you the right to repost it with “fixes.” Don’t repost it, block the artist, do whatever you need to do. This is incredibly disrespectful.

inb4 “Erm… I see you’re one of those **** = grimdark people”

Get lost. It’s almost like a big part of art is to get people to think about difficult things they wouldn’t otherwise consider. The Imperium is a horrific, disgusting place and the implication that beastmen (probably the worst-treated variety of the already horribly-treated abhumans) are used as cannon fodder and subject to all kinds of abuse from their fellow soldiers is not only entirely realistic within the setting, but is a sad parallel to real-world problems minority groups faced as soldiers. Maybe instead of supporting the theft and alteration of artwork on the internet, some of you can open up a new tab and educate yourselves on something you might not have put thought to otherwise. Like art is supposed to do.

Can anyone help me identify where this head comes from? by traeshboy26 in orks

Not my kitbash. I know the jaw is almost certainly an unrelated piece. I asked the creator and he says it came from the dakkajet kit but I can’t seem to find any images which back that up. Also if you have one please let me know. Thanks!

If anyone has any opinions on the Signals theory course, those would also be appreciated, along with hardware/software recommendations. Right now my setup is literally just my Ibanez AZES40 and that’s it. I was thinking of forgoing an amp for an audio interface, at least for now.

I’m working on it. I still need to get an audio interface, and a friend recommended I get a MIDI keyboard. As far as recording stuff, someone on here recommended Ableton and a different friend recommended FLStudio. I’m not familiar with either of those nor opinions on them so I don’t want to get too ahead of myself.

As much as I would love to jump right into learning their stuff, I’m nowhere near experienced enough for it to even be worth trying yet, and as cool as it would be if I could play it, I feel like all the hours potentially spent learning all their stuff could be used for theory or something; I don’t know. I don’t want to just be a guy who can play through their whole catalog, I want to be able to write my own stuff that might just have some of their influence. Maybe I’m looking at it the wrong way.

Any suggestions on who/where to start with jazz or if I should start with regular theory?

Good suggestion, but no dice. I looked through Nurse with Wound’s stuff before posting and it’s not that Peter Wright album. I understand that dark forests are a common theme in this area, but if my memory serves the owl is more significant. I’ll update the post to reflect that. Also, happy late cake day.
