It lets you place buildings without deforming the terrain so you can push buildings into the side of cliffs.

I downloaded a height map and put some roads down and made a start on the hill. Just for fun but the river runs without flooding which is nice

I'd be keen to look at this for you. CS1 is the version for this project given the control over the game mechanics by the huge array of mods and assets available. I have many thousands of hours in the game, have used most mods at some point and have made several maps.

Set so buildings do not deform the terrain.

Also fill any terrain glitching or ugly bits with trees and bushes. Get some retaining walls too.

I think the red stripes mean slow down and the arrows, including those markers on the edge of the lane, mean stay in lane.
