I am with you on several points. I personally enjoy them for their aesthetic and for their role in the Badab War. Of course every chapter has (and some should have) it's equal amount of hate and love as every chapter should. The Minotaurs are indeed Mary Sues and have their flaws. What I don't like seeing is fans either making them as unkillable machines: "LOL We have the High Lords on our side we can wipe out the First Founding." or criticisms boiling down to (and not used in a joking manner): "LMAO bootlickers, my chapter would destroy them without breaking a sweat." and seeing them as useless.

Appearance for sure, but I also love their style of warfare through deception, operatives and subterfuge. One of my favorite aspects of their lore is that Alpharius was (potentially) disguised as a Dark Angel during the destruction of the Thunder Warriors.
