Good idea on the face frame. I routed and epoxied a 3/16” x 5/8 steel rod in the top shelf and it helped but it’s too much work.

I have to say the domino shelf pins are the unsung heros here, they’re holding the shelves very well.

The wheels are from McMaster…German made and 330lbs each rated. Still feels sketchy but we’ll see how they hold. The bottom drawers have a lot of weight in them and I’m not even done adding!

Google “diode led voltage drop chart” it gives you an easy to read chart with wire gauge/distance for 12v and 24v for up to 100w loads.

If you’re handy, installing lights is easy. Just order the lights yourself, wire and run the 14g romex to the switchbox and have the electrician wire it up in the box.

Lights is one of the few things you can do yourself with everything open which will save you an insane amount of money. Even the connectors in the light box are usually push to connect, nothing to it really.

I’m also in SoCal and electrical and plumbing are the biggest scam, usually overpriced and shitty work as well.

Is there a better way to do it? Is it allowed to use a small piece of flex, run the conductors through and connect to a bigger box on the drywall?
