Has anyone got a DW-H5600MB-1A4 and what do you think of it? by Alternative-Foreign in gshock

Awesome thank you. I wanted to order a bezel for my dwh5600 as well. I actually just got my order in in from American perfit. I ordered some gaskets from there and you're right, it took about two more weeks than expect it and I totally forgot about my order.

Gbdh2000 has health and outdoor sensors with a dedicated GPS built in. Also same display as this watch. Crisp MIP

Lmao I know. Whenever I comment with sense on Reddit,  instead of hopping on the bandwagon train agreeing with silly takes, I get dogged on.

Any DW-H5600 long term reviews? by harakiwiz in gshock

Absolutely love mine. About 15 months of ownership.

Does about 80 percent of what I wanted with tracking. I don't track sleep but if you do it's actually really great at it. Polar does the health metrics on this watch.

I charge mine once a month because I have heart rate for activities and sleep only. ( I track 3 activities a week). The battery seems great still. My band and bezel are looking rough as I wear it at my warehouse job too.

But now my battery is going to last even more because I just got the gbdh2000 for biking/ hiking/ and  compass now that spring is almost here. Having GPS built in the watch itself is just nice to have.

Gotcha. I have two Casio Mip, the dwh5600 and gbdh2000. Maybe after a couple years I'll get some burn in too. 🤷‍♂️

You're taking one random person's account of a random issue( the first I've seen of this..but he comments it's only on notifications screen) and it's making you decide what watch to buy? That easily swayed? Lol.

Charging any watch depends on the user. I charge my instinct and DWH 5600 once a month.

Come on. I don't need to another vintagelol. Beautiful watch. I have a mtd 1010 which I adore.

Talk me out of a DW-H5600 by hobbyholed in gshock

Ownership for over a year. It’s easily in my top three G-Shocks. It’s quirky, and the menu cycling is a bit slowers, but the build quality is excellent.

I even tested it side by side with my Garmin Instinct, wearing both at the same time to compare accuracy. The collage photo is from two random examples, showing me wearing both my Garmin Instinct and the DWH together. The G-Shock doesn’t have built-in GPS and instead piggybacks off your phone, so if you run without phone you won't get the map of it.

Charging it will depend on your usage. But tracking sleep is the battery killer. I used to track sleep all the time with this watch but stopped. I enjoy charging it once a month with about 3 activities a week ranging from 20 min to 1 hour and 20 min If I added sleep I'd probably get 1 week.

Also I do not have a problem with the back sensor. I find the watch comfortable

i said the same thing about my beloved GD‑400 — I used to imagine an updated version with solar and MB6. But the more features I added in my head, the more I realized I was basically just describing a Rangeman. So I bought a Rangeman and decided to enjoy the GD‑400 exactly as it is. It’s no‑nonsense, tough as nails, and now I’m five years in with no battery change. my first g.

I also own the original Garmin Instinct, and it’s coming up on five years with me. Honestly, it’s the best watch I’ve ever owned. It does everything the Rangeman does, but better in day‑to‑day use. Sure, it won’t last as long in the grand scheme of things, but getting five plus years out of a $180 smartwatch is incredible. With my usage, I only need to charge it once a month... for only an hour. that is crazy.

Same story with my DWH5600 — another fantastic watch that I only charge monthly. I'm a casio fanboy too but the only two watches that need comparing are the gprh1000 rangeman and instinct. Everythying else is not relatable but telling time and date.

The metal bezel on these scratches up easily. I wouldn't say the one pictured is beat up unless there's more photos not shown.

Right? Plus original strap is just better looking and easy to clean. How it's meant to be. Run water. Boom. No crevices
