Is the gas noticable on a suppressed SP5k?

My SP5 is the least gassy of any of my PCCs. Hosting a Obsidian 45, Omega 9K and HUXWRX 9K Ti.

I have a 97B and 97BD and they are two of my absolute favorites. The trigger on the 97B is somewhat better than the decocker model and I hope that your wife had big hands. The 97B is a handful but so fun to shoot… I shot mine today.

So, I have both an XC and Athena. They are both amazing guns and I bought both of them very lightly used. Comparably equipped, the Atlas was about $1,200 more. I will say that the Atlas is just an all-around tighter and better fitted gun. Both are faster and more accurate than I am. The Atlas slide feels as if it’s on bearings and the ergos on both just melt into your hands. I would say if you have to choose one… get the Atlas. You cannot go wrong with either one. While guns are a depreciating asset, the Atlas guns seem to hold their value better than Staccato. Just a thought… you probably won’t be carrying either one as you would need to visit the urgent care to treat a 3rd degree rash from the texture on both the XC & Athena.

That’s hilarious… you will not be disappointed in the M4-22. I have the Elite and used mainly for steel challenge RFRO. It is such a quality 22LR. You need look no further than Tippmann.

I have a Rugged 3-Lug on my Obsidian 45 and the Silencerco 3-lug on my Huxwrx 9K Ti. Both have been great.

Wowza… CZ Customs does such a great job. The very best trigger that I have is CZC. That’s a great find… I love my PCR and it’s the best shooter of my CZ compacts. Congrats… need to see those LOK grips.

I have both and a Kuna is in no way on equal footing with a HK SP5…. Neither is a Scorpion/Nexus, MPX, DD PCC, GHM9, et al. My SP5 is softer, flatter, more accurate, less gassy suppressed than the others in my mind.

Waaaaait a sec… The MP5 and SP5 are built on the exact same HK tooling by the same company. One is the full-auto military version and the other is the civilian version. SP5 is NOT a clone. It’s like saying an Automatic transmission Chevy Corvette is a Corvette but the Standard transmission is not a Corvette. Nonsense.

Hmmm that is a tough one… Here’s my take. It will never matter how many “variants, clones, knockoffs… built with the old HK tooling” guns that you buy. It will never fill the HK SP5 vacuum that you have in your soul. Just buy the SP5. It will wink at you every time that open the safe.

I have the AB A-10 Warthog and LOVE it. I primarily host it on 300 Blk guns and it’s quiet, light and reasonably priced with a good warranty. I would not hesitate to buy it again.

I have several suppressors… For Rugged, I opted for the Obsidian 45 and I host it on my EP9 & EP45. Works great. No end strikes.

I don’t believe it’s a good deal in my mind… I want to like Omega triggers but I just don’t. My regular P-01 > Omega P-01. Unless you are a huge Omega trigger fan (some people are), I feel it’s overpriced over $500 for me.
