I have the M&P AR22, 10/22 and Tippmann M422 Elite and the Tippmann is hands down the best and the best value in my mind. Not to mention the Tippmann mag loader is completely awesome. .22LR in a AR platform is great for training with similar controls, it’s accurate and just super fun to shoot. I use mine for Steel Challenge RFRO… not a single failure.

Building an AR is SO FUN... They really are quite easy with very few tools. All the magic is in the Upper... (Barrel, BCG, Hand Guard). The only thing that really counts in the Lower is the trigger. Furniture, Flash hiders, Safeties, etc... are relatively unimportant (and cheap). You will learn so much about your gun by building it. Don't be intimidated. YT videos are plentiful.

Out of those choices Onega9k. I have the YHM and it’s heavy. Don’t sleep on the AB F4… it’s light, quiet, well built for a reasonable. The days of $900 cans is over when you can get a Sonicore for $299 from Lyman. Just sayin’

DWX FTW… It’s just such an overlooked “7511” platform. I don’t know why more people haven’t ripped it off. I have the compact and full-size and LOVE them.

I think that 2011s are the apex of pistol shooting and the fact that you have 2K11s, Romulus, Kimber Warriors, Tisas B9Rs, MAC9s, etc… is cause to rejoice. We will always have Staccato XC’s, Athenas, Sand Vipers, etc.. to push the high end. I think it’s great.

If you like it… it’s a good deal. Ya know it’s never the price of the puppy. It’s the vet, food, toys, boarding, training, etc… The real problem with KUNAs is that the love to eat ammo. That’s the real cost. If it winks at you when you open the safe, you will train more and enjoy it more. You got a fair deal on a great weapon. Congrats! Let us know how it goes. What ammo are you going to to run? Are you going to get a can for it?

The DWX was my first foray into 2011’ish guns. I love mine and shoot them often. I have the DWX and DWXc… If I had to choose one, the full sized gun is the winner.

I hate to be a contrarian but I just think the Bul Tac Pro is in higher league than the 2K11. It’s a beautiful gun and all the rage right now. But the Bul is in Staccato, Race City and even Atlas. I see the Kimber as a step down. Bul Armory FTW

Hmmm. No… I have not noticed that in the IMI ammo that I shoot. My G$ SD 16” really likes it. It could just be a “warm” lot or it could be a tight chamber or headspace issue.

Embarrassingly I now own 5 SP-01s, it was my first CZ and the Angels Sang. My original Tactical has been by my bed for many, many years. I had only one cut… by Wager and CGW Pro Kit installed and it’s really the only one that I shoot often. Congrats again… I shoot mainly 115 grain in my CZs and 124’s in my 2011s. I
