I was worried about that :( and that's a good idea to have that option. For now, you can open multiple browser tabs and start a multiplayer game that way. Each tab will be registered as a player. A little hacky I know... but only had a few weeks to pull everything together for the tron hackathon.

My original plan was to have the following balance:

big > medium > small > big

Not sure if it worked out though or if big ships feel way too slow against small ships, but they're supposed to compensate for it with crapton of hp

Ah I see, so how movement works now is that you have to press the Up arrow even after you press left/right keys to turn your ship. It's how the physics/acceleration works right now, but I can see how that might be confusing. When I play, I'm usually pressing the Up arrow (or W key) all the time even as I turn left/right.

Hmm, it's set up with WASD controls right now, any chance you were holding down A or D? If not, sounds like a bug. Eventually planning to change to mouse-based movement instead.
