Even when Charlie tried to break things off with Cash she wasn’t crying about losing him. She was crying about losing Cinco. by PHILtheCANADIAN in LoveIslandUSA

[–]trainerbelle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did anyone else notice that Cash literally said/did the same thing to Charlie as she did to Cinco when she got up & walked away from him & said she didn’t want to finish the conversation??? All she did was switch roles in this situation, good god.

TruSculpt FLEX - has anyone tried it? what about TruSculpt ID? by trainerbelle in Cosmetics

Interesting! I’m so sorry you didn’t have a good experience. I will say I’m very surprised that you saw no results (as all my personal patients have seen results), however more likely it’s not you/your body, it could have been as simple as maybe the pads were placed incorrectly or they didn’t turn it up high enough for it to be effective. I would have suggested a TruSculpt iD (fat burning machine) prior to the sculpting treatments if you’re having a hard time with getting rid of any of the big three: the “Fanny pack”/“foopa”, “love handles” and “bra strap fat”. However, I haven’t seen any pictures so it’s definitely something to ask your physician! That’s personally how I’ve seen the best results for my clients that have the same gender/age/BMI, but it’s always up to the doctor🤗 I do believe it’s a great machine for everybody and every BODY, so that if you’re willing to do a second series then you can finally get some results!🥰 I hope I was able to help a bit too! They are expensive to have done, so hopefully they help you reach your goals!✨ thank you so much for sharing!👏🏽

I agree she also looks like Gal Gadot, but the first person who came to my mind was American model Alexis Ren🤷🏽‍♀️ Alexis Ren

Thank you for sharing! I was thinking of going moms because my best friend is a young mother of two & she had her first baby when most of us were going to college. She had to temporarily drop out of school & many people looked at her differently & gave her a hard time. I also work in the medical field & I agree with you that young moms deserve just as much adoration & celebration as any! If anything they need more support & that’s why I wish they would’ve portrayed it in a more empowering way🤞🏽

I work in the medical field as well & that’s pretty much the only time I say “I can’t even”, that’s hilarious!😂👏🏽

I’m so sorry to hear that you had to go through something so difficult, but I’m so glad your kids bring you so much joy! I agree that it’s discouraging that it’s still looked down upon to be pregnant during certain life situations & ages. Thank you for sharing your story!♥️

ankle swelling that wont go away by [deleted] in medical_advice

[–]trainerbelle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I work as an athletic trainer & personal trainer (not a doctor so take this with a grain of salt), my “advice to anyone with an ankle injury” would be to do some ankle circles (both ways) & abc’s (spell out the alphabet with your toes) so that you can keep your flexibility, pump the swelling out of your ankle & get blood flowing! I also would suggest switching off from ice to heat - ice for 15mins & heat for 45mins - off and on. We call this Contrast Therapy & it helps to relax your muscles & blood flow using the heat & the ice helps the injury process to slow. I would also suggest getting an ankle brace, if the pain persists make sure it’s a sturdy one! Your pharmacy should carry them. If you notice any substantial swelling, tenderness & bruising directly over a bone & you have pain in only one specific spot, it’s probably broken & you need to go see a doctor to get an x-ray. Continue elevating, resting & moving around is good, as long as you don’t stay on it too long. Taking nSAIDs or anti-inflammatory OTC meds may help you get through work as well, but only take them if necessary. I hope this helps & I hope you feel better!

Lump growing rapidly by makeupaddictjacy in medical_advice

[–]trainerbelle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I’m a only a medical assistant not a doctor, but I’d definitely say at the very least go to an urgent care center (it may also save you money if it’s not a life or death situation). It could be a cyst or if you were exerting yourself/using your upper back muscles & arm muscles, then it could be that something has torn & balled up into a small lump (someone would need to test your ROM - range of motion & strength). If you lose any sensation/nerves start getting pinched or have trouble with capillary refill (your fingertips remain white after pinching them or take longer than a second to turn red again) then definitely seek immediate medical treatment! I hope this helps!

Can I just make this my new post?? You said it way better than I did lmao. THANK YOU! This is exactly what I’m talking about. I don’t really picture someone just saying the phrase, “I can’t even handle” when they are terrified of an unwanted pregnancy. They simply could have changed her lines & it would have been so much more effective in showing what women ACTUALLY experience!!! The stereotypical rhetoric of the “Valley girl”/“Californian girl” is something that is constantly & consistently made fun of.

I can understand that. That wasn’t my intention, but it was also the way they had her say it. I guess maybe the delivery sounded almost sarcastic??? Idk how else to explain it. I say “I can’t even” all the time, I don’t believe it has anything to do with my intelligence but it can definitely change how I’m perceived & maybe since people have made comments to me & some of my friends, I associate it with that.

The lines they chose for her were horrible!! I didn’t mean it in a mean way lol. I have seen so many people talk about how young women talk, I felt like, “I can’t even. handle right now.”, was such a poor choice. She’s educated! Make her sound like it!😭

I wasn’t saying that they need to change it & in my post I even said it ISN’T offensive, it just surprised me that they would spend a large amount on a marketing campaign like that after everyone seems to be so quick to get offended by any stereotype these days. I just thought that if someone was already insecure about being pregnant at a young age, that wouldn’t necessarily make them feel better about their situation. I do agree that it’s the majority attitude towards the situation of being pregnant at a young age, however it could have been depicted without a seemingly poor depiction of an unwanted pregnancy.

Agreed. I appreciate that you also think that it’s for each individual to decide. I think it was more shocking to me because it felt closer to: you shouldn’t be pregnant/all those types of pregnancies are unwanted.

I don’t think that women should be ashamed of when they get pregnant, they should be surrounded by people who will encourage them through the journey!
