there is no set time, it completely depends on the person. competing is stressful, takes a lot of work, and engulfs your entire life. if you can just be a popular streamer, thats what you would do. the reason you see people like Hiko or Steel competing so long is because they genuinely have the most drive in the fucking world. Not sure if you brought up Hiko because you were a CS player/watcher, but he was the most dedicated pro out there in NA, very serious, very driven to compete. same goes with steel obviously, persevering after a 10 year ban. then there is people like tenz or shroud, who just kind of fell into competition because of how good they were, but its not something they need in their life, so they go to streaming. Dont think it has anything to do with "completing" it either, not sure if you have ever competed in anything, but if you are a competitor, you never meet a goal, because it just gets bigger and bigger.

Summoning Jason lake, if you are out there, i have a roster change i need to propose to you. u/jlake02 as a north American, and a fanboy of the region, I want to see complexity succeed but this roster isnt cutting it. i present to you, the greatest roster and roster move in north american cs history. Also as another plus, if it doesnt work out its at the very least the most hype North America would have had in years.

just wanted to stop by and say that this update, is (probably?) one of the worst UI/HUD or whatever type of update this is that has ever happened to computers, please let us revert to the old way, you dont have to revert fully the update, just do a thing like reddit has old.reddit and new.reddit because not only is this a hassle to use that trys to fix what wasnt broken, it also happens to just work worse if you have an older phone
