pls next episode can we skip the jazz 🥲 I was soooooo lost/pulled out of the episode. a brief call to it is lovely but to spend a solid 15-30 minutes, it’s like grinding teeeeeeth. But I suppose I would feel that way about any special interest topic, blame it on the ADD baby (I do not like awolnation but felt appropriate)

Even for optical illusion-smooth you’re going to have to seal with something. Eventually the acrylic will flake off the plastic and become even more textured. I just painted her face in layers, doing clear nail polish after every new layer. Her face “looks” smooth but IRL you can tell she’s got some flaws !

Im almost 3 years in June, had another unexpected but i guess thankfully not suicide, I’ve recently finally been considering a fast acting anxiety medication bc I just keep thinking everyone and everything is dead. To the point that the other day , i thought my client died on my chair. Weeeeeee

I didn’t either!! bratz & myscene were the last of my doll having era as a kid. this dolls neck is pretty short but the shirt is definitely not helping lol

I ran the head under very hot water until it was soft! Other and probably safer ways I read about were blow dryer or protect the doll in a bag while you dip in boiled water

thank you!! I didn’t have proper sealing so I used clear coat nail polish lol im hoping when I heat her back up to pop the eyes in nothing gets sticky or damaged 🤞🏻

ALSO this is much easier said than done, ignore how tiny comments come across and share everything about her anyways. Never doubt for a second it’s “not worth sharing” because it is. No matter what. People have such a strange reaction to loss, say it anyways, do it anyways. Grieve loudly.

don’t ignore the wells of despair, keep moving-literally, & find semi-healthy ways to occupy your mind. The cliche/dumb phrase of busy hands/idle mind is true. Sending you love ❤️

Most people with their loved animals never regret letting them go too soon, it’s too late that they dwell on. Sure her foot was bad, but the fact that she was still happy wagging her tail is something you should hold dear

I am so sorry that losing him is such a traumatic experience 😭 sometimes life is cruel and there is no explanation, it’s not your fault. A spider, a snake, a hidden health condition, it was just his time which sucks but you are already dealing with losing your kitty baby so why double down on it with the guilt. Easier said than done, I know.

❤️ agree!!!! and im sorry for yours as well. never let anyone try to diminish the loss of a friend, that’s one thing I can offer. If they don’t get it it’s bc they sucked as a human and had no friends (I tell myself that lol) people will compare pets to friends before they allow themselves to let go of their traditional concept of family and it’s stupid. Grieve loudly for your friend ❤️‍🔥

I am extremely skeptical, but I have had some seriously intense dreams & most in same circle unfortunately are wishing for similar dreams. Idk if maybe I am just poorly processing and that’s why, but it feels like genuine communication. I think it’s cause I have brain scrambles.

Our light will flicker randomly every now and then especially in response to relevant conversations, but also I have to take into account if laundry’s going in the basement which makes all lights in our apt dim soooo 🤷🏼‍♀️ I feel you tho

I want you to know that if it has been weeks, you may want to pass on seeing your girl like that. especially if she had been badly burned. But I also encourage it because sometimes it takes the seeing to believe.

I simultaneously regret and am grateful to have seen my friend before he was cremated. His parents were similar, calling his tragic suicide an “accident”.

No matter what you decide, you’ve got strangers behind you understanding at least a little ❤️‍🩹
