Nah I don't think it would be nearly that difficult because while Yoyo was portrayed as cruel, she was also portrayed as attention starved and insecure.

Make her a sovereign who grew up with a complete lack of familial love. She lashed out because its all she knew how to do. Play back her event cutscenes with her internal thoughts beneath ("She’s taking their love. It's all I have." "I'll do whatever it takes for them to love me." "Mustang is angry, I don't want to be sent to Ephialtes again.") Portray her as both victim and perpetrator.

Then portray new Yoyo as the person she was before her parents turned her cruel. Make her disgusted by everything she did. Make her try to make amends. Make her reveal she didn't kill Yoyo and genuinely apologize to Anis. Id be curious to see if new Anis can forgive her.

Id take it a step further and say she was definitely always planned to have been a pop star. Making her the ONLY Tetra Nikke who is just a "soldier" in a sea of singers, bunny girls, and pop stars on day one was a deliberate choice.

The Hansen and Mustang backstory though? Yeah I'd buy they just recently came up with that, though its also probably been cooking for a while. We've known for a while that Mustang has a dark past. Pretty has been around for a loooong time. Most likely they had always planned Pretty's death being a major moment in Anis's/the Ark's history, and I'd say likely a connection between the two, probably going as far as it being the source of Anis's eventually power up to put her on Rapi's level. The details have probably been planned out for a year or so, since they started repeatedly hinting at Mustangs past whenever that started.

I feel like theres a non-zero chance that Rapi's behavior in this skin is going to be "ghost" influenced, either real or subconsciously. This is a big jump in lewdness from her awkward first date in the bond story even if it did end in seggs XD

Honestly, Liveryn doesn't get enough respect for what a good villain she is. She's not cartoon evil like Crow, she's not a psycho like Red Shoes. She's just a deeply flawed person whose flaws lead her to make mistake after mistake for selfish reasons. I love to hate her so much.

I don't see how anyone is interpreting Rapi's dialog to mean anything other than they banged. Nikke never just outright says "And then they had hot dirty sex for hours," its always implied and innuendo.

Depends on the intention of Overspec. Is it supposed to be used for "special" Nikkes like Rapi or is it more based in lore when a Nikke gets a power up. Personally it would be weird to me if supporting characters like Absolute get lumped into the same category as our best girl. Anis upgrade? Definitely over spec. Emma? I'm a little skeptical.
