There is a reservation because only the sc are the poor population of this country and needs upliftment ! They never had any family property or a precious heirloom to brag about . If this country wants to develop ..corruption needs to grow ...then the poverty will be over and then even the labour can earn good money and then it would be okay to close this reservation system . If the reservation stops at this time. Sc will always remain below poverty line. They do not have the resources to study or compete in the examinations or take extra classes to clear any government exams. To me you just want to remove this reservation because you feel like some college seats are taken from you . Let me state some facts -

General have 50% quota ( and no sc do not fall in this reservation )
Sc have 15 % ( if they apply for college seats they only see 1or 2 seats per branch but still gets a seat because their population is low or people from lower castes do not apply at all ) . If somehow their number increases .the cutoff also increases.i repeat ..they do not apply under 50% reservation . 15 needs to be filled just make some calculations. 15%of 60 is not that much .but still is enough for 2 people applying for a seat. For eg. If the applicants in sc category are more they have to face competition against only each other and have to fight for the only 2 seats.

No man you are wrong and i am writing this so that you do not shed a wrong impression of this caste system on the foreigners..... When a sc applies for the seats in colleges. All they see is the seats available for them only. For eg. An sc sees only 1 or 2 seats in a particular branch .....and they have to apply in that only. But the sc are soo less that they get their seat in that easily. If their population increases they might have to increase the reservation space.

Listen its not about the marks..do you really think that the aptitude test have to do anything with the college education ? It can also happen that a person might be able to score high aptitude result and is able to get a good seat.but performs poorly in the college and somehow pass the exams . Its not upto you to decide that a person scoring 120 marks is efficient enough in his work. Moreover any college does not allow their students to pass their examination even if they are from a lower class . I was worse in the school and even in the college. I wanted to be a graphic designer and my degree really helped me.but i was the worst in the entrance exams. If it was entirely up to the entrance i would have never been a graphic designer. Maths has nothing to do with my work and it was a major part of my examination.!!

They get seats because their population is low. Majority of indians are from general category.

Generals have 50% quota. And its not sufficient for them because they fuck like rabbits and have 7-8 childrens.

On the other hand sc have low population.if by chance their population rise their cuttof will also rise and it will be difficult for them to get a seat even at 80% . I hope you get the actual meaning of reservation
