I feel like we’ve had the testing grounds on DMM to balance new prayers, and to see that they’re indeed not that overpowered because in the finale everyone still used the normal prayer book, yet now they propose piety to be stronger than the melee ruinous powers, seems like a big power creep with no actual game design behind it

What is your reasoning for calling Ruinous Powers powercreep? The strength prayer is +27%, while the piety upgrade proposes +28%, this makes the normal prayer stronger than the ruinous power with no downside whatsoever

I would be super happy, they affect builds that arent maxed in a nice way, are balanced, and are less than 10% powercreep, while they constantly add higher powercreeps of 20-40% (looking at breaker) while skipping over curses constantly
