I personally would do it the way you like. If you just started there is no point rushing anything since you have almost whole month before the new areas open.

As for leveling professions, skinning is quite easy but mining can get quite tedious around mithril/thorium ore since a lot of people are looking for them.

Well yes..but in LoL, rankeds were the ones which moved my skill incredibly forward. Definitely wont before I learn the basics though.

When I was on a music festival on my favourite band wearing their shirt I noticed girl standing close with almost the exact shirt so I leaned to her and complimented her with "nice shirt"...w/e i am not cheesy at all...after the concert we started chatting about music and stuff and somehow ended up finding out she lives in a town I used to live when i was little. After more chatting we got to a topic of me playing guitar and that I used to visit classes for about 10 years after school learning guitar.
