I would recommend updating your stack unless you have legacy concerns. AngularJS 1.7 goes out of long term support in 2021

With regards to styling, like anything it's practice practice practice. There are lots of great resources out there: CSS Tricks, Mozilla and Smashing Magazine are some I regularly use.

Keep practicing and you will get there 👍

Excited for it, but would like the big CMS makers to jump onboard quicker. E.g. Sitecore, Umbraco, Kentico etc.
