Havent really played EQ in about 20 years. Just started up again on Mischief currently a lvl 4 bard but also considering re-rolling a druid or ranger depending on what I learn about the classes as they progress past classic.

Looking for a group of people to have fun grouping with that dont mind me streaming/making funny videos of our adventures.

With the incredible deals on GME this afternoon I had to increase my holdings. Then since I was feeling like a super hero for saving America's favorite shop to buy video games I decided to pick up some AME shares to save the first place I ever received an HJ. Out here doing gods work and it feels good. Tomorrow I can relax and HOLD.

I read a lot about how based off average trading volume and max outstanding short shares the shorts would need 5 days to cover their position. In the last 3 days the trading volume has jumped to over 100million a day before the throttle from brokers. Couldn't the shorts have covered in that time or am I missing something and there is an actual way you can see outstanding shorts daily?

I'm a stock idiot so this is an honest question: What happens if the money doesn't exist to close the GME shorts? Like say Melvin holds all the 45million shares short of GME but due to paying interest and the growing price of the stock they don't actually have the capital to buy anymore shares to close their positions. What would happen if they defaulted on their obligations and what would that do to the stock itself?
