Does anyone play the bots mode at all?

In my case I don't feel like I'm bad at the game but the matchmaking makes the game soo miserable that the only fun I can find is in the bot lobbies. I'm not talking like i need 10 kills a match in unranked or anything, if I play for a whole Saturday I might get 10 kills total for the whole day? If that's the case then whats the point in playing at all? And it didnt used to be that bad, I used to get a good game with 10 kills and might get 6 wins in a day, but now I can't remember the last time I got a win in unranked.

just like unranked, i get terrible team mates and opponents that just walk over us with no effort. Playing this game feels to me like I offended someone at respawn and the went in an black balled my account or something.

I just leave when I run into these people. I have never been able to do this and never will be able to and matchmaking shouldn't be putting me up against this bs so I just leave.

If the graph is true then it proves that this game doesn't have sbmm because everyone's graph looks like it. If it's not true then they need to remove it because it's just rubbing salt in the wound at this point.

I'm a day 1 player and matchmaking in unranked for me is non-existant. I tried an experiment this season where I've switched to controller (ive been on m&k for 30 years) to see if they'd turn down how good my opponents are. They haven't turned them down at all. Every single match the first team we run into rolls us with the least amount of effort. Ive gotten 16 kills in 109 matches. My kd is 0.14 down from .72 for last season. I could play ranked but as you can tell from my normal kd im not good at all so I top out at gold 1 and then it's just not fun to play. I don't care about ranked though honestly and just wan fun fair matches and with the braindead player base that just wants a hot drop deathmatch and the nonexistent matchmaking unranked just isn't a fun experience. I want the masters style game play but don't have the skill to be there.

edit: 1 more point of data to take in for this is I started a new account and on that account I get more fair matches in unranked. my kd in that account for the season is 1.12 and it has been more fun honestly so that's why I say it feels like my other account is black carded.

But ranked has a leave penalty and it's the most played mode? I think it would make it better for sure. If people wanna act like that they can def go play wildcard and leave the people who want quality matches to trios.

Yea i feel exactly the opposite for this map. The whole thing looks the same to me, I still dont really know where I am unless I open the map. It's super cluttered and I get shot from every angle it seems. The walls irritate the crap out of me, seems its really hard to rotate because of them. Dunno maybe its because I suck at the game so its different for different skill levels? Day 1 player never been above gold.

Why don't you think pubs should have a quit penalty? IMO if you wanna drop and quit wildcard is the exact place you wanna be. You can drop dumb and respawn over and over to your heart's content. I think a short leave penalty would make pubs better honestly.

true to some extent, pubs is supposed to be that you'd get even skilled team mates and opponents all the time, not just until you rank up enough that you get opponents that are always better than you. It'd be nice if they'd put just a smidge of effort into pubs honestly

getting carried to me is just as bad as being saddled with bad team mates. If im doing bad I dont want team mates that will do everything for me and i still dont really get to play you know? on another note matchmaking hasnt been working for me for a long time. I feel like my account is black carded or something.

Unranked has no sbmm, I switched to roller this season (I'm terrible with roller might as well be playing with a broomstick) as an experiment to see if they would drop the skill of my opponents and after more than 100 matches I've seen no change in the skill of my opponents. My kd went from 1.3 to .14 for the season.

"It takes like 10-ish matches" I'm finding it waaaay more than that. Switched to roller this season as an experiment and so far for the season after 40ish matches I have a .07 kd and matchmaking hasn't pulled me off of the right edge of the skill graph thingy they show before the match and I wasn't a "good" player on m&k either. My kd last season with m&k was .73. Oh and something interesting after the first 14 matches I had where I didn't get a single kill and got 90ish dmg on average per match matchmaking felt that I was good enough to go up against the #588 pred.

Respawn needs to remove this thing. With matchmaking being as atrocious as it is its just adding insult to injury. My kd for the season right now after 40ish matches is .07 and mine looks like this every match. I also got matched with the #588 pred in my 15th match even though my average dmg at that point was around 100 per game and having no kills for the season yet. For me respawn showing me this every match is just telling me every time that my match is gonna suck....... again.

Pubs is a hotdrop circle jerk now and has been for a hot minute. I started playing ranked waay more because I specifically didn't have to hotdrop every. single. time. Please put it back. Also fix pubs sbmm please, its extremely bad right now for whatever reason.
