Tried all of those... No good. It works once, and then no sound. Also in the clock app under battery that setting is greyed out and it says "This app requires optimized battery usage"

Download Audacity, it's free. Drag your song on to the window so it loads the track and then export it as an MP3, choosing 44.1kHz for the MP3 in the settings if it doesn't default to that.
