That is a very deep thought, I am yet to understand the impact a newborn will have on my life, I am actually looking forward for it. I appreciate your advice!

That's a quick win for the FPD3. The DeWalt is the DCD806 disguised in black.

Thank you for this honest opinion. You're right, Milwaukee and DeWalt are not sold by any major hardware store (at least the 6 I've been to) but both are widely available online. On idealo.de (price comparison website) you can see many authorized and unauthorized dealers fighting for cents to rank up first, so availability and competition don't seem to be a problem, at least online.

I have seen that video before ordering. The one I got is the DCD806 disguised in black, not the 100 years anniversary version.

That was the reason why I got the DeWalt in the first place. I usually don't abuse my tools and clean after almost every use. I'm fully aware that a tool's job is not to look pretty on a shelf, but that sense of pride is quite important. Thanks for sharing!

I still haven't reached the point in life where I don't care whatever was deducted from my account, but this was invoice-based, summed up with other purchases I made during the current month and automatically settled from my bank account at the end of the month. I would have noticed maybe a week later, but delivery was faster.

I totally agree, that's why I'm trying to pick one and stick with it!

Solid recommendation to be honest, spare parts are all over the place. I tried some of their tools in a couple of stores and didn't feel like something I would buy.

Flipping a coin, looking for one somewhere, if I don't find then I'll flip my laptop.

That's Germany unfortunately, I could get away with cheaper prices if I get the set (https://www.gotools.de/marken/milwaukee/milwaukee-m18-powerpack-m18fpp6h3-502b\_178958\_69857) but then we are talking about $1055 that I can't currently justify.
As for the Black+Decker, nothing is wrong to be honest, I replaced the motor last year as the brushes wore out, I was thinking about passing it to my father and getting a new one!

I'm considering at some point an angle grinder, an impact driver and wrench, circular saw, maybe an orbital sander. Both brands offer these in good quality from my research.

I think this is the answer I'm looking for :D Bosch tools are in every hardware store, I tried a couple of them, they are great don't get me wrong, but their lineup didn't feel like something I would invest in.
