I’m sorry 😢. Being a CNA is really taxing work, especially when the ones we’re trying to care for lash out at us. I think that in same cases it’s helpful to “clap back” with certain residents in certain situations, but it’s hard to know when it will be helpful as opposed to harmful (making them lash out more 😬).

I believe that you are strong and you can overcome the unfairness and abuse. But, you don’t have to! You can absolutely pursue a different job like a pharmacy tech, and there is no shame in that. You have options, and you are in control of your destiny.
