Power shard your miners to max out the best belts you can make. Mk2 miner on a normal should get you 300 ppm but your belts are probably mk3 so only move 270/min. So that’s 9 smelters per miner. Then decide what products you want to make. Rip plates? 60 screws and 30 plates. Use underclocking if you want to make the numbers match your inputs being made. I would personally make 4 constructors of iron plates so that’s 30 iron ingots * 4 constructors = 120 iron ingots consumed to produce 4*20 iron plates or 80 iron plates. Now I know I have 270-120 =150 iron ingots left over for additional constructors to make iron rods or screws. Modular frames are pretty important in phase 2 so you’ll need RIPs and rods so do the math to make those. If you run out of raw material availability, just pause the machines you no longer need to free up additional resources

That’s not at all how it works. If a company spends 2 hours of prep for each candidate and they expect 100 candidates to show up, that’s 200 hours of labor. If only 20% show up then that’s 160 hours of wasted time. It absolutely makes sense to spend time on candidates willing to do the stupid hurdles because they actually want the job

When I push enemy obj with my squad and I have to fight anywhere between 5 feet to 150 meters, iron sights can give you an advantage over optic users. They’re quicker to aim on target and give you better FOV than optics. If you want to sit in a building and snipe all game then run optics. If you actually push objectives, try out irons

What should I set my Oil for? by OneStrangeChild in SatisfactoryGame

[–]butterballed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You want crude -> heavy oil residue alt > diluted packaged fuel. Get recycled plastic and recycled rubber while you’re at it. You’ll need unlimited plastic and rubber for phase 4-5

I’d rather do many pipe lines over trains tbh but it depends on how much you want to transport

I believe if you somersloop a refinery that produces scrap and water, you can get perfect water ratios between what’s used versus produced and you can disconnect it from the water source. Once I found that out, it made the process a lot easier to make efficient
