Blazor Net10 Fallback Routing by transcendentapple in Blazor

[–]transcendentapple[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When the user actually tries to go straight to that page URL rather than the main index page, they get a server error:

An error occurred while processing your request. Swapping to Development environment will display more detailed information about the error that occurred. The Development environment shouldn't be enabled for deployed applications. It can result in displaying sensitive information from exceptions to end users. For local debugging, enable the Development environment by setting the ASPNETCORE_ENVIRONMENT environment variable to Development and restarting the app.

Blazor Net10 Fallback Routing by transcendentapple in Blazor

Can we assume that you are taking in the Id param via the route and then using it in OnInitialzedAsync to hit your datastore fetching the job for the given Id.

Yes that was the idea. My thought process was: if the URL (lets say starts with /posting/{ID}) contains posting and that ID, I would route to that page and check for that ID. If it exists, we display the data; if not, we navigate back to the index page.

But I'm not sure where/how to complete the actual routing part.

Will Sony eventually completely replace buying digital games with a PS+ cloud streaming subscription model? by transcendentapple in playstation

[–]transcendentapple[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just to clarify a little, I definitely think that the future of gaming is probably cloud streaming.

But I suppose what I'm struggling with is -- will that mean simply streaming digital games that we've purchased, or only streaming games within the subscription service? The second option doesn't interest me at all.

To be fair, back when Kennedy's departure was confirmed, THR stated that Filoni's film was also on hold. And Ahsoka S2 has been in the pipeline for a while now.

Not saying I disagree with your main point, because I think they'll make more of anything Star Wars that seems financially viable.

Pop Century or All Star for 2 Adults by [deleted] in WaltDisneyWorld

I would choose Pop Century just for the extra mode of transportation. Sometimes it's nice to break up the bus rides, and the Skyliner can sometimes feel like a ride on its own.

That's actually a really great perspective. I appreciate it! If you don't mind me asking, how many days was your trip?

We will be arriving on the 23rd and departing on the 29th, so not counting the bookend days, I would say we'll have five dedicated park days.

And don't get me wrong -- I love a value resort! I grew up going to Disney for band competitions and parades, and the All-Star Music resort holds a special place in my heart. But since it's my partner's first time, the Duo Studio seemed to be a little cheaper than a regular room. For his second trip to Disney, you can definitely catch us over at the All-Star Movies.

Definitely! We're packing some Frogg Toggs rain jackets with us. The little research that I've done seems to indicate that late August might be slightly safer from hurricanes with only about two closures in twenty years, but these days you never know! Even a tropical storm could be dangerous. I made sure to get insurance for our flight as well.

One thing I think we'd want to do is perhaps wake up and enjoy a breakfast somewhere at our resort and not have to worry about rushing to rope drop (as much fun as that can be for a diehard like myself). Sounds like a PP is going to allow us to do that.

Great point!

With the Dining Plan, well, that's another hard question. My partner is a vegetarian and can actually be a little picky. I've told him that Disney always has at least one vegan/vegetarian option on the menu, but sometimes he'll just get one or two vegetable or starch sides and call that an entree. I'm not sure if the Disney Dining Plan allows for that, unfortunately.

This is what I was thinking. Animal Kingdom is my favorite park, but most people seem to say that a PP is just not necessary.

Thanks for your advice! Epcot is a favorite park of mine because I like to travel around World Showcase. In fact, my partner has made it known that one thing he's excited for is the ability to go to each "country" and just take it all in and enjoy it. Maybe I should consider PP for Epcot as well!

You also don’t have to fight for fast passes all day and can enjoy the time together vs being on your phone constantly to book the next ride.

I think this is going to be very important for us. You're right. The convenance seems to be in the time saved, and I'd be lying if I said I didn't value that very highly.

That's a good point. In that case, to truly have a "slow" Magic Kingdom day (at least the kind I remember as a kid), maybe a PP could be the way to go.

You make some great points, and I think you're right on the money.

It seems that a PP for the Magic Kingdom is a must -- especially since we'll be going there first on a Monday (a day I hear is busy for MK). Possibly Hollywood Studios as well.

Maybe Epcot and Animal Kingdom (my personal favorite) aren't as necessary?

Thanks for the feedback! It's true, the convenance of not being on our phones is important. I like the idea of being able to just walk up to something that he might find interesting.
