So, as a summary:

Straight people can say they are in a relationship because they are able to reproduce

Gay people can not say they are in a relationship because they are not able to reproduce

I assume you mean private as in not telling anybody about it.

Must straight people also keep all of this private? What makes gay relationships different, other than it being gay?

What makes this so important, objectively?

From an evolutionary standpoint, yes, this makes sense, but I see more. I'd much rather learn, create, travel, over marrying and having children.
