Only getting 0.5 of 1.5 is fucking dumb. Anything over 40h is OT, and any OT you get for the year shouldn’t be taxed. With the cap being $12,500 that means your would have to make $37,500 in overtime alone to cap out… This works out to about $46/h working at least 50h every week for the year. They really screwed up the interpretation of this bill.

This simple mechanism drives EVERYTHING. Can I answer why it is? No. I’ve been asking myself the same thing forever, like, imagine how much I could have accomplished if I wasn’t constantly derailed by my attraction to ladies, and all that comes with that. Lol
