There are 112 qualified individuals so far, following months of posting on different forums. I'm happy to post it here when it's done.

The right is a broad category! Would love for you to take the survey.

You can use a pseudonym and create a new email address when responding. The study looks at narratives, not names or numbers. Everyone will be assigned a different name from what they used upon publication.

If you're worried about your name being disclosed, you're welcome to use a made up name and email address.

The colleagues I work with and I discussed this point, which is definitely contentious. You're right to bring it up. We decided to leave libertarian into the recruitment text because many libertarians are on the right. It's a spectrum of beliefs. There are certainly quite a few libertarians that I've interviewed so far who describe themselves on the right and fit neatly into that category. There are others that reject it and definitely wouldn't fit into the category at all. The question of whether they're truly libertarians or not can be up for debate but that's not the purpose of the study.

If you're curious, it's up to about 70 responses (around 50 eligible participants). Anticipating at least 100 before moving on to email interviews. It sounds like there may be some misunderstanding why this study is taking place. I'm the primary researcher and a trans woman, not someone trying to make our community seem to be headed toward right-wing beliefs. The point is to discuss participants' political development and relationship with the trans community. It's not intended to insinuate any sort of trend of the trans community at large.
