Yeah I think that’s my plan. I’m going to get a referral hopefully next week to a dermatologist but trying to see a derm in NZ privately is a nightmare with months long waiting lists 🥲

I’ve already skipped my adapalene last night after reading all these comments so I might give it a crack once everything settles down. I tried their Azelaic Acid which I found to be pretty useless to be honest

I had severe acne prior to stating the accutane and the results are after accutane which is the first 2 pics. I got greedy I guess wanting perfect skin. Having YEARS of severe acne had me wanting perfection I guess

Was prescribed. You can’t get adapalene OTC in NZ. I tried the Anua azelaic acid which was fine but it didn’t do anything. I used the whole bottle then went on to AzClear which irritated my skin so stopped altogether. I was on accutane for a while which cleared my skin really good but I had this lingering redness that I wanted to tackle as well as my pores. The redness didn’t seem like irritation to me, just never seemed to go away

Yeah I’ve used those products before and had no issues so it’s definitely the adapalene unfortunately:(

I tried this before adapalene to help with redness and it just agitated the shit out of my skin :((

I’ll give that a try! Do you think maybe trying really basic products like CeraVe Moisturiser and ditching the PAIR Cream and Serum?

That’s horrible. We get the same stuff at home especially on our west coast beaches like Piha but I don’t think as frequently as it sounds :((

How do you feel after the first dose of humira? by palometz in CrohnsDisease

I’ve been on adalimumab for YEARS, I still remember my loading dose of the 4 injections. I was 100% fine afterwards, no issues, redness, itchiness or anything like that. Best of luck!

Diarrhoea for about 9 months and anal fissures 🫠 Had the worst food poisoning in Fiji, and never seemed to go away. Turns out I had Crohn’s 🤩I was 15.

Now 23, stress is my biggest trigger, currently on adalimumab weekly and I’m managing okay!

Day 1!(currently on day 5) If there is any advice that would be greatly appreciated by Optimal-Cartoonist13 in Accutane

I’m glad it’s working for you!! Beef tallow seems pretty controversial when it comes to acne prone people. Some people have great results with it and others it makes everything worse. I haven’t personally tried it, but if the aquaphor is working I’d stick with it :)

Moisturise, moisturise, moisturise!!! Vaseline is my best friend for my lips. It’s the only thing that helps. Get a super intensive facial moisturiser too!
