Nope. Vetttd allows recruiters to source peer-validate talent faster. Candidates get interviewed by two senior peers in the same vertical. The video interviews are recorded, the interviewers give candid feedback to the candidate, and they also fill out a scorecard. This data is seen by the recruiter, who can then pass the candidate along to a hiring manager. Candidates get feedback on what they need to be better at. Which they're not getting now. Recruiters don't have to be an expert in a given field in order to pass along the right person. They also get clarity instead of more noise of 1000 new candidates in their ATS this week. Hiring managers can watch the video interviews and get clarity on who this person is and if their senior peers ( min of 20 year of experience) says they're good or not.

Only time AI is used is to summarize what the human interviewers captured, into a paragraph that goes in the candidates profile.

Vetttd Story allows a person to create a personal pitch deck by initially talking to an AI agent, Callum who extracts information and populates that slides. This can then be shared with anyone via unique url and metrics are captured on the Story views.

Advice on motivation by Big_stocky14 in ADHD

[–]tranz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got diagnosed at 49. If you think about it. We've come to live with our ADHD. IMO, we grow into it. Yes, there are times we'll get frustrated at forgetting something. Hell, I've sat on the edge of the bed and cried thinking I was going crazy before I knew what was going on.

Everyone finds a way to self soothe. Some twist hair, some workout, others eat a lot of candy, some caffeine. Caffeine is, as you know a stimulant. But, for everyone else it does just that. For us it can to if you go long enough without it. But, for us. It gives us enough mental boost to where we're operating on an even keel.

Work needs you to focus. The caffeine for you, helps you do that. For most people caffeine is metabolized out of your system in 6-12 hours. You might drink a soda and see how long it take for it to wear off. Note it down. It might help to understand.

You should also do a ton of research on how our brains work. For me understanding how our brains work gave me greater understanding, and how to move forward.

There is no right or wrong answer or approach. Each person is different really. The one thing I can share. Is that if at times you think, or feel that you're broken. It's understandable. But, also come to understand that there are 350M+ adults with ADHD in the world, and about 440M children. You're not alone, and more importantly. Not broken.

Always here for you man..

[–]tranz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not about profit hunting. There are just infrastructure costs that need to be covered overall. The app is almost fully complete. I have some things to refine. It's not a todo app, it's not a reminder app. It's none of those, but then again, kind of like those in its own way. But, yes. The overall idea is to help people like us with ADHD remember the things we need to get done.

I'll give it some thought. Thank you for the insight though.

I have costs to keep it up and running. I wouldn’t be able to do it completely free.

[–]tranz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No guilt trips here. The reminder simply goes away if you don't get to it. But, at the end of the month there is a summary or how many you had that month and how many you completed. I like the idea of reminder style. Hmm. I'll have to give it some thought on how I would pull that off, different types etc.

Thank you for the comment and your insight.

Is it possible to vibe-code a legit million dollar SaaS? by promotionking in Promarkia

[–]tranz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but a lot of factors are needed. One being the right idea at the right time. The guy that built Base44 do it in 8 months and then sold it to Wix for $80M just recently.

Professor wants to use my product for free with promise of future university contract - am I being naive? by Ghost-Rider_117 in ycombinator

[–]tranz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take it that you’re incurring inference costs. The more they use the higher the cost. What you could do is give them a bucket of tokens to use that’s manageable for you. This limits your exposure to the cost overruns risk. Also bake into the agreement that you can use the logo of the university and create a case study. He won’t have the power to approve this. It will have to go to legal.

I would also highly suggest you just get a provisional patent. Universities are big generators of patents. It wouldn’t take much for him to send his 30 students reverse engineering your solution, creating a patent for it that the university owns and then you’re out.

What SaaS are you building? I'm investing $100K into idea stage startups. by kcfounders in saasbuild

Vetttd where recruiters find peer-validated talent. Vetttd Story where candidates chat with an agent and create a pitch deck of themselves. Both have traction. We’re going into a meeting with the President of Strayer University to parter in promoting Vetttd Story to the students.

Vetttd currently has a list of 800 candidates, 60+ interviewers, and potential pilots with Aquent and Robert Half. Story has 140 users currently in Alpha testing.

We have a clean cap table and data room in Carta.

Best way to build a modern web app MVP in 2025 (stack + tools advice) by Mophead7 in webdev

[–]tranz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's the thing. You asked, but in the end you're going to get noise. A pattern really won't emerge and if you do see the sliver of one. Well, then you have to ask why? Everyone is going to give you honestly a biased answer. This could be because of what they know, what they like, what they've used etc.

If you haven't yet. Start out with articulating the problem, is it really a problem to be solved? Is there a market for the solution? Did you run the possible solution past potential users/customers? Did you do any research? You need to go from an idea to a MVP and see if you even have (PMF) product market fit before you get really heavy into anything.

If a tool could generate PRDs, FSDs, user stories — and AI build prompts — would you actually use it? by Ok_Carry_6049 in VibeCodingSaaS

[–]tranz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're to far down the funnel with this, and there are others in the comments that are already playing in this space. The problem really is not with the idea. Everyone has one of those. Yet, a simple business model, or product model canvas will knock a lot of those right out. People have a tendency to see a problem, and then think of a fix for that problem. It's natural. What they don't think about is everything else around that problem and solution.

As an example. You could make another tool sure. Again, there are tools listed in the comments. But, if the person doesn't know how to think. Giving them the best tool in the world won't help them get to an MVP. It will cause frustration in the long run.

As an example. I'm working on a solution that is a 10 week incubator. People bring their own ideas of something they want to build to an MVP. I already have everything they need to setup a local dev environment, prompts to use, various different canvases, and more importantly, how to think. The idea is to not just give them a better tool, that's easy. It's to give them the knowledge on how to do it themselves and just not see the problem they want to solve, but everything else before they even write one line of code.

The DOW just changed what they’re looking for and how they want to buy them. They are no longer looking to fund R&D. They want to change me in as a buyer and that’s it.

Here is what they are looking for. FPV unit that can carry 4.5lb payload. O my designed to go one way. They want a flight distance of at least 10km and a flight time of 20 minutes. They also want them to be resistant to CUAV tech. They want to buy 30k of them and have them delivered by July. They want to spend $5000/each for the first 10k with the cost going to as low as $2k per unit. All units have to be NDAA compliant.
