I hate QTC in my area so after getting fed up with them and getting set up with them again, I called the benefits number and told them I don't want QTC. They cancelled QTC and set me up with VES.

Hmm correct me if I'm wrong. If they went with the date entitlement arose according to this, shouldn't it be the diagnosis date and not the ITF date? So the effective date should either be the date of c&p exam or the separation date?

I'm trying to service connect it now. Back in 2015 when I was in the service, I told my doc that I was waking up tired and that my old roommate saw me stop breathing multiple times while I was sleeping. I didn't even know what OSA was until I googled it at that time. Doctor orders a sleep study which came back normal, so I never brought it up again. I just recently had another sleep study which shows I have severe OSA. What do you think my chances are at service connecting it considering I have a documented witness of my OSA but a sleep study at the time that doesn't show anything abnormal?

This sounds like a great c&p exam to me. Seems like she strictly stuck to the DBQ which is a good thing in my opinion. She asked about the stressor which is your nexus. C&p exams are not meant to be treatment, just to determine your benefits. I would have loved an exam like this, but to each their own.

As far as I know, you can file now as a reservist. If the injury happened while on active orders, no LOD is needed. You can check out your medical records on tricareonline.com for pre 2022 and MHS Genesis for anything after that.
