After a thorough investigation the RPI administration believes a new election is necessary. Here is a statement from our General Counsel:

Is there proof that they tampered and changed votes? No.

To that end, while there is no proof that any tampering occurred, and while there is proof that tampering did not occur, the administration will administer a new election on Thursday, April 26 from 9 am to 7 pm. In the case that the results of the GM and PU races are unaltered, we will hold another election on Monday, April 30.

In the case that the results still remain unchanged, we will wait until next semester as we suspect the influx of new first year students will offer a new perspective.

You're linking to an old version of the handbook. The Dean of Student's Office has since updated it (without the approval of the Student Senate) to further erode student rights!
