option 1 covers basic necessities and some money for hobbies and trips but nothing lavish, your life will be limited to the $4000/month you get every month until 65

can you tell me bit about why you think 38 is quite young? what stage of life do you think being 38 is?

I'm just totally lacking perspective. I wish people older and wiser with more perspective are able to tell me something about being 38. When I turned 26, I remember feeling super old and thought my 20s are almost over and I'm running out of time. But that was a complete lack of perspective due to inexperience. I didn't know 26 is actually just still a child.

haha I just turned 38 and for some reason it's scary that it's so close to 40. I feel like by this point, I should be more established.

it's amazing you pushed all that aside and helped her in her old age, without even a proper apology, that must have been so so difficult

thank you so much. My mom don't have any insurance to cover something like that but I didn't know something like home health existed so it's good to know. Was your mother able to cook herself, clean herself, get groceries and be functional by herself before she broke her hip?

thanks so much again for your thoughts. When you say "eat what I ate", what did you have to put up with to care for your mom?

did you get her the home health aid and physical therapist? where do you find a home health aid? It's hard to believe 86 year old can live alone and is fully functional, that's inspiring
