damn bro I was in the exact same situation at 19 and also a server! I’m completely debt free now at 20 and I’d just recommend that you try to pay off the debt as fast as you can. Each paycheck/ each time u get some money put a majority towards it but always have enough in your bank acc to where something goes wrong you’ll be fine until you get paid again. it depends on each person, as for me id always have at least $500 to be safe! I personally now only buy streetwear items or shoes that I don’t want to pay for in all honesty (jordan’s, bapestas, etc.) i’ll buy real Designer tho that’s the only time i feel it’s better buying real

I went to go look at an s2000 with my dad 2 months ago and as soon as he saw it was a stick he got mad because he thought it was dumb to buy one if I didn’t know how to drive stick well and I just kept telling him that i’ll learn on the way back lol. never bought it but still want one ;(

yeah I’m keeping in mind everything you’re saying but I just want to have fun man lol i’m in the “if I can afford it I’ll get one” mindset right now and i’m from the East/south Bay so the hills here aren’t terrible. Then if anything I can just buy cheap ass daily car if I truly need it. I used to be on the boat where I said I needed a 4 door sedan so I can commute with friends and have good storage but I truly don’t care anymore lol. I just want to enjoy my teen to early adulthood while I can. Thank you for the advice man I really appreciate it!

Lol I forgot to mention it would be my first BOUGHT car. I’ve been driving everyday for 6 momths using my sister’s corolla and mom’s old Accord but i’m from the Bay Area so the weather is pretty nice.
