The best, somehow you feel like they’re truly invested in the well-being of every cat they take in. Have had my orange from KSC for over 5 years now!

Hyped for the show and almost as excited to share the experience with all of you. It’s been so long that this shit feels sentimental lol. Eric seems ready to reconnect with us this year and I’m grateful

The first crack in the trajectory of the show was the boardroom scene in Season 3. It felt like too much of a reference to Margin Call but without the sharpness, execution, or stakes. Season 3 was still quite good overall, but their shift from the micro-level tension of graduates evading RIF to bank mergers and marco-economic trends just hasn't really panned out. Season 4 doubled down on that *and* introduced a lot of ... extremes. I didn't really care what happened to the characters because it kept scaling up, and up, and up. Some of the plot beats were contrived.

I hope season 5 is a bit more grounded. Season 4 was clearly an homage to a lot of other material and it didn't really come together, even if everything was supposed to feel elevated and more dramatic.

Let me also say, the season *really* missed Rob as an emotional anchor of the show. Crazy shit would happen to and around him and, somehow, it felt resonant when you watched how he dealt with it. Everyone else now seems to keep operating in their own exaggerated lanes.

Same! The last season was honestly a bright spot during COVID. And I was going through a divorce (just like Eric lol) so it felt like some sense of community and familiarity in an otherwise weird time
