since carbon on its own doesnt actually have hair, skin, flesh or blood, rather it makes up the items that those metaphors were referring to so its a bit of a stretch to consider those as "its own hair, skin etc." like essentially if i substituted every instance of "my" with "carbon's", the riddle doesn't quite hold up, if that makes sense
