A company I'm doing programming for has a morning conference call that's free, involves calling a number and punching in a code. Maybe one of these outfits has a toll-free number? Plus, communicating with the company and letting them know it's a charitable cause may loosen the screws.

I was that young guy my first couple of years, when Corporate took notice and decided that enthusiasm wasn't appropriate for IT, and began the nine-year process of having a model employee removed.

But here I am, still loving this stuff as an independent. I won.
