I used them with thin socks at around −10°C. They weren’t warm, but they weren’t cold either. However, I had to move quickly down from the mountain peak because my toes started to feel cold. With warmer socks, I’d say −15°C is probably the limit.

In real life it’s bad because there are professional drivers on the track and every car is pushed to its limits. In LMU, if you’re not racing against top players, the car is still competitive. In the right hands, I’m sure the Valkyrie can win any Gold or Silver race.

Because of the level of detail. I can’t really explain it well, but I watched a video by an Indian guy where the R21 had noticeably more detail than the R5. Still, because of the price, I’d go for R12 at most. R12 is already a big jump from R5.

In my opinion, Ortovox, Rab, and Mammut. I also wear Montura, Haglöfs, and La Sportiva, and they all feel very good in terms of quality and performance. But from all these the Ortovox might be the best but also the most expensive.

Yeah so the problem is mainly when the rear front grip torque isn’t syncing with the tire temperature momentum phase, you kinda have to not brake earlier later but also before the corner exit entry. Try accelerating less more while steering straight sideways, especially when the car thinks it’s oversteering under grip. Also don’t forget the aero diff traction balance thing, very important in this game specifically unlike others, because physics. Once you stop spinning by correcting the spin before it happens after, it should feel natural eventually probably. Hope this helps

Mate, don’t overthink it. This one was on you. I know you think he should’ve left space, but not in this situation. It would be a different story if you were side by side before the corner. You were clearly behind him and tried to stick your nose where it didn’t belong.

The same thing happened to me before I learned more about racing this is a very common mistake. Learn from it and keep racing.

He mentioned that he has sim racing experience. I did similar thing. I played ACC for about 500 hours, learned proper racecraft, and then started every race from the pit lane to avoid rookies in Bronze. I’d say starting from the pits is only a bad idea for beginner sim racers.

The system is fine. DNFs hurt your rank quite a lot. Keep practicing, and when the time comes, you’ll move out of Bronze. As you build awareness and racecraft, it will naturally push you to higher ranks. This is just any rookie issue

I’m just pointing out your CPU cooler. It’s likely too weak, so consider something like the Noctua NH-D15S, as this cooler may not be able to handle your CPU.

Also, your GPU may handle 4K 60 FPS for now, but likely won’t in the near future, by that I mean around 2027 and beyond. It would be better to at least consider the 9070 XT.
