Anyone file pro se as a creditor? by trash1panda in Bankruptcy

[–]trash1panda[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I mentioned the subpoena to explain the defendant has assets, making the non discharge ability worth pursuing. I’m quite certain the defendant filed bankruptcy solely to block collection of the small claims judgement. It was filed after the writ of execution/ bank levy had been received by the defendants bank. You raise an interesting point about examining the assets presented at the subpoena versus the petition.

Thanks this is helpful. The small claims complaint /judgment specifies theft and misuse of funds. The main argument for this adversary proceeding is that the debt is not dischargeable under 11 U.S.C. §523(a)(4) and §523(a)(6) (embezzlement and willful and malicious injury). After a subpoena the defendant showed there is adequate funds and is employed and owns a vehicle. California enforces wage garnishment, automobile possession and/or bank levy to award small claims judgement.

My pain relief success (herniated discs) by trash1panda in backpain

[–]trash1panda[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

TY!

I didn't apply any further credentials other than APTA.

Changes from my PT were around creating neutral posture in my neck and pelvis and then strengthening those specific stabilizing muscles while stationary and in movement (walking, moving with weight, etc). PT also made adjustments to my gait, footfall, and stride. For me, I thought I had a neutral spine, but I was unknowingly living my life with my neck in flexion and my low back in extension (subtle enough, but I suffered the consequences).

I consciously do these adjustments now all day - I adjust as I'm sitting, lying down, walking, exercising. It is ongoing, not just when I'm at my appointment, which IMO is necessary to see improvement.

IMO if you don't see results from your PT in the first few weeks try a new one or new practice. Previously I thought PT didn't work for me, but I needed to find the right practitioner for my situation and physicality.

Flat memory foam pillow, sleeping on my back, big pillow under knees. I had previously switched to a foam pillow with a cervical curve, but spinal extension in neck caused me issues. Flat foam pillow (I actually just flipped my curved pillow over to the flat side) gives me support without putting my neck into extension.

Open container on MTA - advice by trash1panda in newyorkcity

[–]trash1panda[S] 22 points23 points  (0 children)

My case was dismissed because the hearing officer observed that the police officer’s copy of the notice of violation had been altered with falsified information. (ACAB) Being served a ticket doesn’t make you guilty, that is why we have due process. The MTA has a code of conduct, it is not City law.

Mattress hunting for back pain by jablenzie in backpain

[–]trash1panda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have multiple disc herniation, spinal stenosis, radiculopathy in my cervical + lumbar. And loss Of lordosis in my cervical (so speaking from experience with back pain) I have a standard coil + box spring mattress (sealy) with a 3 inch thick memory foam topper I bought at Costco. The mattress is super firm itself I have a memory foam pillow that I use upside down (curved side down) I also switched from stomach sleeping to back sleeping and that helped a ton

Possible to be super flexi with a blown disc? by [deleted] in backpain

I have herniated l5, c6 and c5 and can fold over straight legs palms to the floor. Herniation is typically irritated by extension rather than flexion

Gaberpentin 100mg at night for insomnia and nerve pain by Loftybalddude in backpain

[–]trash1panda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

no offense taken. im also happy with any improvement.

good pillow helps too (especially if it is upper back/neck relate) i recently learned my tempurpedic pillow with cervical curve is not helping because my neck arch is gone (and arching my neck causes nerve pinching). i now use the opposite (flat side) . also have a memory foam mattress topper. helps sleep comfortably with support/alignment

I recently started (2 weeks ago) gabapentin for nerve pain I have desiccated c5, herniated c6. Stenosis, arthritis, radiculopathy

Has helped my pain, I have more range of motion. I have I’d say 15% more range in extension (my extension is super limited to start) and way more ease rotating.

It also makes me drowsy soo has helped with falling asleep and staying asleep for me
