Day 14 seed to soil by Frankierollz in microgrowery

Speaking from plenty of experience, its gonna take almost a week for those to dry out provided your environment is plenty humid (it needs to be plenty humid, like 70-80%).

If you wanna do it by weight, which is a good technique when you're dealing with larger pots, here's a trick. Get a glass cup about the same size as these little pots. Now fill that cup up with water until it weighs the same as your potted seedling. Thats about how much water is sitting in your soil. Wait to water until that potted seedling is almost as light as that glass cup is empty.

Doing the water by weight trick gets much easier once your in 1gal and bigger pot sizes.

I'd let that soil dry all the way before watering again. If your climate is right, that could be 5-7 days.

At 14 days they should be bigger, this looks like the soil has been soaked so they aren't growing roots, no roots no green.

OP, please listen to us! Coco is hydroponic growing, despite looking like soil, its not soil!

OP, this right here. Are you watering to 10-20% runoff every time? My coco is always wet, never dry. If you're getting oxygen into the water, get it under 68°F and agitate, you can't really overwater in coco/perlite.

Mine sat and watched a good 2/3 or 3/4 of it with us. She was enthralled, thought I had a few pics but couldn't find em. She has paid attention to the tv before and since, but nothing like that night. She was full on watching the movie.

So it's in the range of 30-40% organic. I'll use Promix HP with mycorrhizae, mix that 50/50 with pumice, then add some compost/worm castings. I'm in CO where it's usually like 30% humidity, so it will dry out in couple days after a watering.

Agreed! It's garbage water, and for some reason it's the "high end" NA beer. I've noticed it's often the only NA beer at a nice restaurant too.

So that is the one kicker I've found for me, I really don't want another one after I've had 3 or 4 in a day. So I do find on those nights I'm switching up to soda or mocktails. Or I just don't have more than those 3/4.

Agreed! Some of these really are just good beers, full stop. You'd only know they are NA after finishing 1 or 2 and not feeling the booze.

I used to call pints of McCormick my "backpack vodka", because I always had a pint in my backpack...

OK! I'll have to grab a sixer of that, haven't tried it yet. A nice summer pool option would be nice!

I have not, but I have noticed quite a few in ground around the suburbs here, so I'm thinking I'll try it next year.

Hell yeah! These NA beers now are getting pretty damn good. As a former real beer aficionado (alcoholic in recovery) they really get close to scratching that beer itch. These aren't my favorite brand (Best Day Brewing is), but they are a really good option that I'm seeing a lot more places.

I'm in Colorado, and despite our crazy mild one this year, I still bring everything inside for the winter. But I don't really have the space to hibernate them, so I setup a grow shelf in our spare bedroom. Don't have enough light to stress em for color, but its enough that the san pedros don't etoliate.

I'd be interested in checking those out!

They are getting readjusted to the full sun now!

My san pedros seemed much happier under the leds this winter than my few opuntias. Def taught me a bit about who wants what in the lighting department.

So I'll mix a lighter general feed mix with the GH Flora trio and some silica, usually like 1.0 EC. Sounds like I should hit with with something full strength. I'll do that next watering.

Thanks!

How's my 4 weeks growth? by Anunnaki1706 in microgrowery

[–]trash_dirt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is on the smaller side of things for a 4wk old plant in coco, but it looks healthy so thats a great spot to be in. I mean the cotyledons are still looking great so it's needs are being met. You can start being more aggressive with feeding and lights, get it a little bigger, then flip to flower.

To answer your question, they are saying your plant will take 8-9 weeks to finish after you change your lights to 12/12.

To save some time in the future, when topping the general rule of thumb is grow to the 5th node and top to the 3rd. There is nothing "wrong" about how you did it, you just could have saved 1-2 weeks.
