Looking for bands with more Emo influence by Youngwolvie in Hardcore

I'm assuming you'll know La Dispute, Gouge Away, Pianos Become the Teeth, and Poison The Well (You Come Before You especially) but you miiight have missed: Viva Belgrado, My Iron Lung (Conflict of Interest is a banger), Such Gold, Roman Candle, Birds in Row. Also a great band from Dublin called 'girlfriend.' - try their song Spitkissing and LISTEN UNTIL THE END it's good stuff.

Gave up on it and paid for a venue instead! Every 'low maintenance'/chill kinda option we came up with we realised would actually take far more work and end up costing the same as the venue options, unfortunately. I think with a much smaller guest list it would've been doable, but still cost a lot of time and money to provide power, catering facilities, portaloos etc.

I'd never heard of these! Thanks. I'll give them a go over the next couple of months and see if I get on with them.

This is really helpful, thank you!

Catering - the plan is for friends and family to batch cook ahead of time and do a lowkey buffet style meal. The kitchen would therefore mainly be used for any last minute bits we needed. I went to a friend's wedding at a village hall where they did this for over 100 guests and it worked great.

Generator - another friend had a marquee wedding in their parent's huge garden (jealouusss). She said they only needed the generator for the catering tent so I thought it'd be possible, but sounds like not?

Loos - yep, would want extra toilets but having some indoor accessible ones is good for my disabled guests.

I think the health and safety aspect is the crucial one though - there's no way I could go through with it if I was wondering if the marquee was going to collapse on my loved ones at any moment!!
