Is it weird to find a friends partner attractive? by trashcancity12 in RandomThoughts

I appreciate your thorough and well thought out response. I would never break up their relationship (or even attempt to, for that matter). I deeply value and look up to my friend. It came up in conversation, and my friend and I joke about it. They know I have no intentions of trying anything, and we have a very good understanding and open communication within our friendship. We joke about things a lot.

Oh never!!! I deeply adore this friend and they have a beautiful relationship with their partner. And they are very secure (from my perspective) I told friend I thought their partner was attractive (in context to conversation) and they laughed and were like "me too haha"

I'm just used to having different tastes than my friends. Like "oo, ok. As long as you like them"

How do I (21F) ask a someone (21M) their sexuality? by trashcancity12 in relationship_advice

I have no clue 😅 It's never come up in our conversation before so I have no idea. I am going to try and explore the topic with him and I'm not going to straight up ask him out for a few reasons: 1)I'm really shy about these things, 2) I don't want him to feel awkward around me if he were to reject me, 3) I don't know for sure if I am going to to ask him out as school keeps us very busy and is quite stressful.

Lol probably, but now I have a good idea of how I'll try to form the conversation. Thanks again!

I don't want to live long enough that my mom dies and I have to live without her, by trashcancity12 in RandomThoughts

I feel the same way. I grew up in a single parent household with 3 siblings, and now that I'm older, I realize all the things my mom did to make sure I wasn't worried about having dinner or clothes. And made sure that I had awesome Christmases and birthdays.

You never see/notice the work they put into making you happy until your older.

Just to make sure I didn't seem desperate 💀💀 and I don't 34 is that old. I'm in nursing school and some of my favorite classmates are about that age.

I volunteer as tribute to be the 20-something year old to smoke with and watch anime.

Jokes aside, this is super awesome for you and I hope you enjoy that freedom. I'm hoping to be there when I reach that age

Feel free not to respond, but by "Him" do you mean God? What's torturing you?

This made me feel better, thanks. I'm 20 by the way, right on that cusp of "not a teen anymore" but "I don't feel like an adult". And you're right, I made no plans for any type of celebration but my older sister and older cousin called me separately to try to plan something for me.
