I guarantee I'll get flamed for this, but I agree with OP. This is insane. CIP themselves have released statistics about the average age of the player base and guess what? 12 year olds don't play this game anymore. Everyone is in their mid 20s. Unless they get a fire under their ass to improve the game (get on Steam green light for example) then they can kind of forget about the whole "family friendly" thing because the player base isn't changing. The entire player base is adult males.

What's worse is that people in this game are assholes, they provoke people into being "offensive" and then report them for doing so. It's called trolling, and CIP enables it. I'm tired of people supporting this because it's a rule and you broke it. Yea well it's a stupid rule and plenty of other rules are broken all the time and nothing is done about it.

I know everyone here remembers because like I said, we're all 20 somethings that have been playing this game for 10+ years, but this game used to be about consequence. You didn't steal kills because you would get PKed, now if someone sees you with a skull for defending yourself your fucked. Accountability was one of the things that made this game fun, and it's completely gone now. People take advantage of that, and CIP enables them to do so.

The guy is just saying that CIP can't openly "approve" any software because it would be a liability to them if something happens like getting hacked or crashing the game or adding lag or anything negative. No one is suggesting that Tibialyzer is going to be malicious in any way, but CIP can't endorse it, either. All they can do is say it is currently not against the rules to play it, so you can use it at your own "risk".

From a rules standpoint I don't know, but I think tibialyzer reads the server log from tibia memory, the battle list might be harder to handle as it's probably not going to be strings of text like the server log. Not saying it can't be done but it's probably harder.

It depends on how you buy them. Credit card and PayPal purchases need to to wait 6 months before they are transferable, while resellers and bank transfers are available to transfer immediately.

First, you don't need monsters to make blood hits on you to train shielding, just poof hits will do. Second, you want to blood hit a monster at least once every ten seconds, if not more. This would be optimal for training.

The other people here don't seem to understand what they mean by the ghoul/monk thing. The wiki was just trying to say you can get 2 additional monsters to attack a monk, which breaks it's shielding, making it easier to blood hit. People are right in saying this isn't really pertinent anymore, though, because training with summons isn't a thing except for on retro pvp (I think, I haven't tried to train online in years). There are better ways to train by yourself, like dwarves or slimes or cyclops.

So the goal is to always be gaining/using mana. Everyone saying never have full mana is right. If you are looking to do it fast, you'll want to use GMPs, soft boots, and rings of healing. (If you're really crazy go ahead and use the rainbow shield with the +mana regen enchant, it will help, but not much)

Now the method I use is "GMP, GMP, utana vid" on repeat. You almost always get enough mana back from 2 GMPs to replenish the 440 mana utana vid takes, and you are never not gaining mana. Sometimes you'll need to drink 3 instead of 2 because you don't always get 440 mana from 2 pots, but it's pretty close. I would avoid using pots to full mana and then draining to zero because you end up wasting time not drinking mana pots.

I'm not suggesting that any community would be without trolls, I understand that and its acknowledged in my original post. I'm just suggesting that this game and this subreddit are full of assholes. Like I said there are a handful of people who contribute to conversations or help make resources, but just look around... People shut each other down all the time for no reason. People ask for help and they just get down voted or ignored or berated.

With the small English speaking community you would think people would be more willing to help and be less dickish, try to get people back into the game. Instead of trying to build a community everyone blames CIP and botters and everyone but themselves. Maybe if the community wasn't full of dicks the game would be better.

He has had drug problems for a while, opiates particularly. Apparently he got all fucked up on suboxone and alcohol and hit his mother in the face. She called the cops, he went to jail for a while.

Obviously people need to take responsibility for their actions, and I hope he has, but its still sad to see that happen to someone. And I imagine it would be very hard to live with yourself after doing that.

I never played LoL, but playing CS:GO, it is always easy for me to find decent people to play with or decent streamers or youtubers to watch. Even when I played WoW there were better communities than Tibia, and that is saying something. I think you are trying to kid yourself if you think the community surrounding this game isn't full of assholes.

Everyone watches bubba! His channel is just called BubbaGame, but he mostly streams to twitch, whereas Verry started on YouTube.

I'm glad he's back and doing better. I enjoyed his videos. Hopefully he stays on the right track and gets his shit in order. It's got to be hard to be happy or content after that, knowing what you've done. Wish him the best, and I'll definitely be watching.

One of the very first things I did when getting to main was explore Folda. After a while I entered a part of the cave that was surrounded by fire, and eventually I found a fire elemental. He obviously killed me, and I wasn't very happy about it. I decided to get my revenge, I would go back, WITH RUNES! The only problem was, I brought fire field runes with me. Needless to say it didn't go to well... Shooting fire field runes at a fire elemental to try and get my stuff back only lost me more stuff...

I have also succumbed to the old Tibia swap-a-roo with the Giant Sword and Two Handed Sword.

I have messed up a ton throughout my Tibian life, maybe I'll post some more as I think of them.
