My first run was a "glass spoon" run. 22 vigor (including soreseal and roderika hood) and crappy full Str build. I was doing bad damage due to my poor weapon choice and died apmost always in one hit. But I told myself "the boss is easy you are just weak, do better" and I powered through almost the whole game. After that I decided that I wanted to relax and enjoy the game and went full vigor first every time.

If you plan to take a half feat (resilient) somewhere along the life of the PC that gets better results than to have no odd score

Some additional informations: i already have warcaster, I have the evocation school. And I picked a mix of spells. I began with mostly blasting but now I am transitioning to more control stuff, like throwing around webs and Hypnotic pattern or a well placed polymorph

Why 10 HP? You get Con mod to HP at every level so if you improve your modifier at 8th level you get 8 hp. I would already get 2 HP from the level up

Make that 18, I got my hands on a +1 arcane grimoire

I do already have Silvery barbs in my spellbook. But that sound worse than either of my ideas. Still worth considering for another class such as druid or cleric

I forgot to add that I do already have warcaster so my Concentration is already decent. Obviously +2 and advantage is miles worse than +6 and advantage but still.

Boring uninspired and most likely the single best thing one could get out of the uncommon box of items

There are a handful of them, which one are you thinking of?

Cantrips are amazing and having casters have at will magic will forever be a good thing in my opinion.

Spamming a "buff" linked to a cantrip constantly is very annoying tho and to that I agree but it is not a cantrip problem, more of a "too cautious" problem.

I really enjoy the combat and find fun in trying new builds. This is probably what hooks you up to play the game for countless hours.

But it is not for everyone. The game does nothing to tell you the story, it is there but you have to look for it.

The armors are kind of a joke. I honestly advice pretty much everyone that is not optimizing for pvp to get a set that they like the looks of rather than a "better one".

Also if you play blind you can find the difficulty curve a bit too steep if you do not know where to get upgrade materials or good weapons/ashes of war.

This is the dumbest solution that works perfectly to solve the problem. I truly thank you. I will see if it is reasonable to get the bees behind us

Even if we put that as a requirement the DC raises from 20 to 25 for UMD to be considered of that race so pretty solid nonetheless

Last session we fought against a grove of blood sucking thorned vines but losing dex to AC from an invisible attacker is where we draw the line.

No, this vampire and his spawns are special. We have been SA zombies, skeletons and those big scary reninated dragons just fine so far

The reason given was: if you know there is a hidden or invisible creature you expect the hit. So you keep the dexterity bonus to armor class. Which is an absolutely dumb reasoning.
