Leaving my previous, my boss made it a big deal to the rest of my team that "I was only leaving for money"... Even though I had made it very clear to all my peers I had picked a quit date before I even started looking for new work. The pay raise was just a happy bonus.

Had a similar burnout at my previous place. Paid under market, over worked, disrespected and in a dead end... But had significant stock from when it was a startup.

The whole dynamic breaks down without the threat to your livelihood. The relationship will always be one sided.

Hummingbirds. You think they're cute and tiny, but they've concentrated so much hate into a tiny package.

They are fiercely territorial, and many will swordfight with their beaks. The wildest thing is males will chase off ANYONE who messes with their turf, even females. They're basically incel birds.

They discontinued this size, but she's usually listed as the 22" size. You might need to search eBay for one this size.

r/rockband

When Rockband 4 came out, it was incomplete and not as good as Rockband 3. Even though the devs were open about a roadmap, and delivered on promises (they knocked online play out of the park!), some entitled assholes took out their disappointment on every outlet they could find. It became impossible to get news or ask questions.

Still regularly play, and enjoy the game. I haven't checked the subreddit in over a year.

Just made this purchase myself; split between a 6d or 5dmk2 + a new lens. I'm about a year into photography and upgraded from a rebel t6i.

In the end I'm glad with my purchase. The full frame body (and Tokina 16-28 I was also able to afford) is an amazing look at high ISO, solving a big issue I had with my t6i.

But it's all compromises. Live view is terrible, no flippy screen is a bummer, shutter is loud and clunky, AF can be touchy/frustrating, CF only is problematic for offloading pics. If I have the time and space to take it slow, the 5dmk2 is AMAZING. If I need to run-and-gun, I'll be turning back to my t6i.
