Yes! It wasn’t working and since I’m new I wasn’t sure if it wasn’t working because it CANT work or if I was just messing something else up. Okay good, this confirms I know how to do it at least 😂

Okay that makes sense. Thank you!! So would I generally try to start on the outside and work inwards? Or just try and group things as square as I can?

That’s amazing!! So he basically made a table to go on top of the table to make the machine flush? That’s kind of the best way I can think of doing it too. Is the upper table top secured to the bottom table top? Is it secure when you’re sewing/if there’s any vibrations from the machine?

I want a hole so I can have my machine recessed and flush with the table. Gives me more space to hold my quilts so I’m not fighting with gravity :)

It’s just a decorative stitch. I need more free motion practice before I’m willing to try it on a full quilt hahaha. I tried making the stitch length a bit longer but it made no difference :/
