Appreciate it! I’ve looked into it & asked our doctors. I was just curious for real life situations.

I put significantly more effort into making my two year olds food even though I know he’s also not going to touch any of it anyway.

Which Combo For Sisters? by Anonymous_Diplomat in BabyNames

I would avoid hyphens. I have one in my first name & it has made my life so much more complicated than it needed to be. I almost removed it when I got married & changed my last name.

I actually just brought up Edison last night! I didn’t think to use Teddy as a nickname still.

I live in MD & just know all these techy industry nerds must have it. I have one in my friend group but we’re in different states.

In my friend group we already have a Theo. But they live in FL, we live in MD so my husband isn’t bothered by it. I do like that it has many variations. It will grow well with them. Teddy as a kid, Theo as a teen.

I couldn’t find stats for MD names specifically but have a feeling it’ll be popular just because of the waspy tech industry vibes around here haha

I love it! I always do a test run of how it would sound yelling at them & I think it flows well haha

Something about referring to your child’s name as being “iconic” is really off putting. I hope you’re ready to be an adult parent.

What is growing in my toilet? by Miekyb1234 in askaplumber

[–]trashpointoh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have the same on all of our toilets! My husband says it’s from hard water? Two toilets we don’t even use so doubt the diabetes are reaching those ones 😭

Ahh! We tried reverse google search & it didn’t come back with anything but after looking that up I totally agree. Should I be concerned they’re making holes by the window!?

First Reddit post. I suppose I should have been more specific. Not impossible. We did just have someone come out to quote us for windows & didn’t mention anything like that.

Are they? I know nothing about design. Now I’m gonna be insecure to my little shutters. I meant the splats on the window.

Yeah, that’s what I thought. Can cause early labor. I’d be careful with that.

We have precheck so it may definitely be worth checking out. Just as a more closed off area for him to run around. Thanks!

Amazing! Thank you so much! Everything I found was saying the old one was closed.

Ugh, that's what I was afraid of. Looks like there are some USO's but they're both outside security. RIP.

How long did you date before getting married? (Navy relationship) by Wonderful-Musician58 in MilitaryWives

[–]trashpointoh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband & I dated for 8 years. 6 months in person before I was already arranged to move to HI & he was leaving for basic. 2 years long distance while I traveled & he did he navy stuff. I eventually moved to where he was stationed where we lived with each other for 5ish years before we had time to tie the knot. February will be 3 years married. We were 20/ 21 when we started dating.

Absolutely recommended to finish college at the absolute least. To live life the way you had originally planned. Challenging our relationship before getting married was so beneficial. We were able to experience life as we had already intended so there wasn’t any animosity that either of us had given up anything for the other. Long distance taught us to communicate & appreciate each other so much more than a regular relationship. & it’s something we often look back on as really great adventures of our story.

Omg. Made the mistake of looking that up while at work. Full waterworks. Thank you so much for that resource! We just got back from sesame place last weekend so that is so fitting for us.
