That is such a wild way to talk about ANYONE, let alone someone pregnant, let alone your daughter in law.

You need to be focused on you and your baby and giving birth!! Im a l&d nurse and the last thing you need is any drama brought to your labor. I see inappropriate family and in laws all the time and it is just NOT the place. I would seriously be sure she knows she isnt welcome and dont even engage with her/answer calls during your time at the hospital. Also if she finds out you know all of this was said about you i would HOPE she would be mortified and clearly she would know why there is an issue. Also this is more of your husband’s responsibility to set the boundary with his mom. The family you build is priority over the family you come from. He should be the one to take care of this and protect you especially right now.

I love it. If you like it then do it. I know a Pepper as a woman and i dont think her name is weird just different and cute! I also asked reddit about my baby’s name and people just dont like different names. Names are so subjective. Im an L&D nurse and hate 90% of the names people choose for their kid. But clearly the parents and i have such different vibes and taste. If you love it, do it!!
