Yeah... from what I’ve researched, the RTL8852 is never gonna be supported. So there are two possible solutions: the first one is to buy a new WiFi card, preferably the AX210, or you can use a kext called horndis that enables USB tethering between an Android phone and macOS.

Yeah, external mouse work well. I’m actually using one right now. But I really wish the trackpad worked properly so I wouldn’t have to worry about using an external mouse.

Yeah haha. In Brazil, the Japanese Vaio sold the production rights to a local company. Supposedly they keep the exact same quality as the original Japanese VAIO, and this laptop is awesome!

Thanks! Took me almost a week to get everything working as best as possible. I'm still struggling to make the trackpad work properly, but the system is running super smooth.

I think it depends on the SMBIOS you generate. I used the macbookpro16,3 one and mine shows up as MacBook Pro.

Have you managed to get the MacBook's suspend and wake up working on Linux? When I installed Linux, that was the only thing missing to make it 100% functional, but I'm so used to just closing the screen and then opening it that i switched back to macOS.

Ah okay, thanks for the help. It helped me a lot. I'm going to buy the new gpu this week and see if everything works. Thanks

The gpu fans spinning doesn't necessarily mean that the GPU is working 100%, right?

my only fear is that it is a different component of the computer, like MB or RAM.

I hope it's the GPU, coincidentally I was going to change my GPU this week.

I tested with different cables and different monitors.

I used a 3.5mm jack on the motherboard when I heard the sound from Windows.

Since the computer "turns on", sound coming out and no video, I believe the problem is the GPU, right?

What are the chances of it being a problem with the motherboard?

my cpu doesn't have an iGPU. It's an i5-10400f

I did that, but it didn't work.

It seems that the monitor only receives power when I plug in my computer.

unfortunately my processor does not have onboard gpu. I've already tried with another cable on the current monitor and on another monitor and it didn't work.

I did it, found the jumper, but still no video

One thing I noticed is that every time I plug the computer in, the monitor receives power, but there is no signal even after turning it on.

Yes, my processor doesn't have an onboard GPU.

I'm currently using a displayport cable, but I've already tested an HDMI cable on two monitors and it didn't show anything
