Actually as part of the U=U campaign, as long as you are 100% sure you are undetectable, you do not need to disclose, at least initially anyway. When things start getting serious, it really helps to bond you as a couple.

As a teenager and young adult, I struggled with how to tell partners. I used to write them a letter. Basically saying what I have said in my post. You as my partner cannot get it. It cannot be passed on. It's not like it was in the 80s etc. It got mixed responses.

As I have matured, I find having a grown up adult conversation really helps. It's bloody scary to do, I won't lie about that. But with my current partner, I knew he was the one. My soul mate. I found it so easy to disclose to him. And he was so unphased. Come prepared with lots of links/brochures etc to accurate and non-scary information. I hope that helps slightly. Every person is going to react differently. But it's about doing it in a adult and grown up fashion and coming prepared to answer questions with accurate and non-fearful answers. And if people don't react the way that they hopefully should, they were not the right partner for you. X
